Pickled Onions
Description
During the Summer in Dingli, huge glass jars can be seen lining the roof of the Razzet, the farmhouse of Diar-il Bniet. Pickling inside are onions grown in the fields below, picked by the farmers and left for three weeks to become a traditional and delicious accompaniment to Maltese cuisine.
